Coach Matthew is a graduate of Winter Park High School where he helped lead his 1998 team to a state runner up finish. He then attended University of North Florida on a scholarship and set several school records including all time wins leader, most career shut outs, and most career innings pitched. At UNF he was a 2 time All American and won 46 games as a starting pitcher. He was inducted into the UNF Hall of Fame. After his collegiate career he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 22nd round. He has coached youth league baseball (ages 6-14) for the past 14 years. He has been a private instructor and the director of a summer and winter baseball camp for the past 12 years.
Coach Jared is also a graduate of Winter Park High School and played on the 1998 state runner up team. Also was a member of the 2001 team that posted the best record in Winter Park history going 22-4. He then attended University of North Florida and helped pitch his team to a runner up finish in the College World Series in 2005 earning the win in the semi final game of the College World Series. During his career at UNF he tallied a 7-1 record with a career 3.35 ERA. He averaged over a strike out per inning and recorded 8 saves. At UNF he ranks in the top 10 all time in strikeouts per 9 Innings, Career Saves, most appearances, games finished, career pick offs, and most wild pitches!! He then signed a Free Agent contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He has coached in youth and high school baseball for 10 years.
Coach Vic began pursuing his passion of coaching in 1986 and brings 31 years of experience to the staff. He founded/managed the Central Florida Bombers from 1994-1999. As coach of the Bombers he developed 12 future collegiate players, 5 professional players, and 2 players that would go on to make it to the MLB. He founded the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs Youth Baseball organization in 2004. During that time, he has coached and mentored over 70 baseball players that have played in college or professional baseball. He has a passion for seeing young men excel on and off the field. Baseball is the avenue he uses to impact the lives of his players, teaching them discipline, accountability, and character.
Coach Evan was a graduate of Winter Park High School. He then went on to attend The University of North Florida to play baseball. Evan also enjoyed a successful career at UNF where he went 14-9 and posted a career 3.90 ERA. He logged 180 innings pitched while only walking 47 batters. Evan also has provided private lessons, and served on the Incinelli Baseball Camp staff for several years.
